ANNETTE HESLOP AND ENERGY4ALL
Below article by Harvey Tordoff in the United Kingdom provides a brief history and the pathways to, now it is called: Sustainable Energy For All | SEForALL
Initially, its short form used as SE4ALL in 2011, which is also one of the 17 Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for the Sustainable Development Goals. In it, SDG#7 is specifically dedicated to: Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all

At the United Nations Framework on Climate Change conference in Katowice in December 2018 the US, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait rejected a motion to welcome the latest study. Australia remained silent. But despite national Governments taking a strategic stance over what they see as their own short-term interests, progress is made. I want to tell you about Annette Heslop, who (also in December 2018) was presented with an MBE* from HRH Prince William. An MBE (Member of the British Empire) is one of the highest awards given to British civilians, and was in recognition of Annette’s contribution to community-owned renewable energy projects.

UDHR AT 70 & UN NGOs
UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS AT 70 & UN NGOs
by Harvey TORDOFF
It is 70 years this month since the Universal Declaration of Human Rights became enshrined in the conscience of the world. In human terms, it is a life-time. Has it been a life well lived, and can we now sit in our rocking chairs content in the knowledge that we have achieved our goal?
Progress has been made, of which we can be proud, but no-one can believe that there is no more to be done. There are still far too many places in the world where systematic abuses of these fundamental rights take place in the name of culture, religion and politics. Wars have continued throughout the last 70 years.

[Read more…] about GAZİANTEP: ANTİK BİR MOZAİK KENT CENNETİ

WATERGATES
“Happiness is the universal force to be attained as the final objective of humanity.”
A man walks to his father’s castle to flood it, one by one, bucket by bucket. It’s an “underwater mystery” he thought, the father would have to navigate through the floating furniture, to avoid any injury. He spent a few hours talking to the television about his plan, Nixon looked right at him, over the radio and blamed it on the man. The father is to swim…they say you can’t judge a fish by his ability to climb a tree, but you can judge a man who beats his “underwater mystery”.
