At the United Nations Framework on Climate Change conference in Katowice in December 2018 the US, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait rejected a motion to welcome the latest study. Australia remained silent. But despite national Governments taking a strategic stance over what they see as their own short-term interests, progress is made. I want to tell you about Annette Heslop, who (also in December 2018) was presented with an MBE* from HRH Prince William. An MBE (Member of the British Empire) is one of the highest awards given to British civilians, and was in recognition of Annette’s contribution to community-owned renewable energy projects.

[TurkishLibrary.Us] “The White Helmets Activities in Syria: The Fact-Checking By EyeWitnesses and Former Volunteers” titled side event with the provided Facts and Figures and Testimonies presented at the United Nations in Conference Room# 7 in New York on December 20, 2018.
Maxim Grigoriev, Director, Foundation for the Study of Democracy, provided extensive evidence on the “White Helmets” activities in Syria such as engagement and operation forced the removal of human organs, stealing and all forms of corruptions.

Nadia Murad, now a United Nation Goodwill Ambassador on Trafficking of Persons, is the co-laureate of the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize. In 2014 when she was 21, she and her neighbors in a predominantly Yazidi village in the Simjar mountainous area of Iraq were attacked by the forces of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). These forces were following a pattern of targeted killings, forced conversions to Islam, abductions, trafficking of women, sexual abuse and slavery.

EĞİTİM VE NOBEL ÖDÜLLERİ

“Bu Amerika’da birçok seminerin konusu olmuştur. Museviler dünya nüfusunun yüzde 0,2’sini teşkil ediyor ama bilim Nobellerinin yüzde 20’sini aldılar. Onlar bütün insanlardan daha üstün zekâlı mı? Yok değiller. Onların kültüründe eğitime, bilime önem veriliyor. Bu asırlarca öyle gelmiştir. Bunu Türkiye’de geliştirmek lazım.”

Stockholm’de Alfred Nobel tarafından 1895 yılında kurulan derneğin, insanlığa hizmet edenleri ödüllendirmek amacıyla verdiği Nobel Ödülleri, 1901 yılından beri dağıtılıyor. Fizik, Kimya, Edebiyat, Barış, Fizyoloji ve Tıp alanlarında olağanüstü başarı gösteren kişi ya da kurumları onurlandırmak üzere verilen ödüller yalnızca ödülü alanlar için değil, ödülü alan isimlerin ülkeleri için de büyük önem taşıyor. Her yıl bilim, edebiyat ve barış alanında dünyada öne çıkan kişilere verilen Nobel Ödülü yalnız onur kazandırmıyor, NOBEL’i kazananlara para ödülü de veriliyor 2017 yılında verilecek olan ödül toplamına yüzde 12.5 oranında zam yapıldı. Buna göre, Nobel Ödülü’nün miktarı 8 milyon İsveç kronundan 9 milyon krona (1.12 milyon dolar) yükseltildi.

For Gandhi, non-violence was an expression of spiritual law, the way in which the spiritual energy of the universe manifested itself in physical form. “There is a soul force in the universe which, if we permit it, will flow through us and produce miraculous results.” There were three aspects of life in which Gandhi was particularly concerned with the expression of the spiritual law of non-violence. The first was his own personal atunement with the spiritual energy, which he sometimes called ‘God’ or ‘Truth’ or ‘Love’ but often left unnamed. He also believed that this spiritual atunement had to be followed by the persons working closely with him — a view which often led to difficulties as many of his followers saw non-violence as an effective technique against English domination and not necessarily as a guiding principle of life.
