When a TAC schoolmate called and told me that he had a book for me, I decided to travel to Adana from Gaziantep by bus and fly to Istanbul from Adana. As I entered the bus terminal, a young chap came over and asked me where I was travelling, adding that Tatlıses bus to Adana was just leaving. I followed him to the bus that was ready to depart.
There was only one seat left and all the way in the back, which I took, and the bus rolled.
After a quick nap, I took out the latest draft of the Report to include additional names to the membership list.
On the left of me, there was a young student, reading a book. Then, almost at the same time, she took out her lunch box and I took out the baklava that I had bought in Gaziantep.
I offered her baklava and she offered me borek.
I already had my lunch, therefore declined the borek but she took one piece of the baklava.
After she told me that she was from Mersin and on the way to Çağ University in Tarsus where she is doing her master and she works in Zirve Universitesi (Gaziantep) as an English teacher, I gave her the Report to read. She said it was very interesting project and asked if she could also become a member of the Working Group. I said of course and wrote her name as the 100th member, thus completing the list of 100 Founding members for the TLM.
