INTRODUCTION:
This event aims to support and create
awareness on the United Nations Security Council Resolution #1325 (2000)
in correlation with the concept of “Secularism”,
which is the missing key component of the #1325 framework. It also aims
to introduce the SDGS#5, 16 and 17 to the general public in conjunction with
the #1325 towards the attainment of the 2030 Development Agenda.

Kairat Abdrakhmanov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, at a High Level Special Event on the margins of the General Debate of the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly. It was consequently signed by foreign ministers and other authorized persons from about 70 countries. The Code of Conduct received wide ranging support because it recognized the inter-linkages between security, counterterrorism and development.
